Micro Footie development ID offers a training edge for keen and talented players with a combination of effective programming and high quality coaching. We offer three unique programs for players with developmental potential.
• An individual player striving for a higher level.
• An individual we think has potential or has been referred to us.
• A player who is not progressing and needs something more or an added dimension to their game.
These sessions are for players with potential that love the game. Players train in a small semi-private environment. This environment allows consistent high quality training, the opportunity to build a relationship with the youth player and offer ‘in the moment’ feedback as well as provide detailed assessments.
Each of our ID programs place emphasis on creating ways in becoming more dominant and red hot on the field.
Our top 3 Programs
Game Development: Booked on a private or semi private basis. These sessions take place @ Empire Field and place emphasis on skill development and improving match day performance.
Athlete: Speed, strength, skill: used by Vancouver Whitecap, University, HPL, metro and developing players who want that edge on the pitch. Jason teaches athletic movement, reaction, the crucial first 3 steps, and speed-strength so players move like athletes on the field. Sessions take place at Jason’s Train like an Athlete studio.
Mentorship and trial preparation: We go over any loose ends. From game preparation to positioning to analysis. Sessions take place at with the Train like an Athlete studio.
In 2015 Micro Footie established a partnership with Glasgow Celtic. Each year, for a week long full day camp, we bring professional coaches from Celtic FC Scotland. Another key component of this partnership includes sending select players the opportunity to experience one week at Glasgow Celtic to train like a pro player, play their youth teams and be assessed. In 2016 we will be selecting up to ten key players to take part in the Celtic Talent ID camp in Florida.
With players experiencing varied growth rates and life events Micro Footie is a firm believer that players develop at different ages. The variety and detail of our programming will allow players to develop at their pace. We connect and create relationships with players that include seasonal assessments, positive affirmations and a progressive creative style of coaching.
